Its not just about the service you are coming into the salon for, it should be a given that you will be pleased with the cut, hi-lights or whatever you have booked in for. It needs to be more than that to create the full salon experience in my opinion.
You could say its starts the minute you walk in to a salon or even before that. When you make the initial phone call, how were you dealt with, did you feel looked after and cared for? From the very beginning of Velvet Rooms I knew I wanted to put what they call “Front of House” in place, to ensure the salon ran smoothly and all VR clients were looked after the way I intended them to be.
For the past year I have been looking for the right person to join the VR team and take on this very important roll, to be my eyes and ears within the salon. I was really lucky to find not one but two people that were perfect.
Organised, contentious but most importantly they both had the relaxed, friendly and welcoming manner that was essential for this role. As you know your client experience is everything to me and is imperative to the success of VR. Now 6 months in with Liz and Katie at the helm, I am guessing you have all had the pleasure of meeting at least one of them and I hope you feel they are there to increase your experience and look after your every need.
